Hello woodworkers. Here are most steps in the build of this monster stand. 3 different stain colours were used from Sikkens. 100% of the stand was made of knotty cedar. The granite inserts were place ¼” above the cedar. Hot plates would then not be touch the cedar
No hardware is visible and extensive use of Kreg pocket holes were used. For the top, I pre-drilled ¾” holes and filled with plugs I made from the Brazilian wood IPE.
