Hi there….well after 15 years of pleasure boating, we have decided to sell our Bayliner. We have another full slate of swimming lessons in our backyard this summer plus a wedding in BC late August, so there is so very little time to enjoy the boat….we have only been out on the lake twice (2020) and none last year….so its time to let her be enjoyed by another family!

With these crazy gas prices, you will be pleased that once you do your research, you will determine that with a single engine and 8’6” beam, the boat is remarkable gas efficient. When we go for a day boating on Lake Ontario or Sturgeon Lake, we spend about $50-$60 in gas for the day.

In addition to the notes below, there are three major points to review.
NEW MOTOR: 2010
We were on a week-long trip on the Trent River System. One day, we backed into a weedy slip, which was a mistake as the intake sucked up some weeds, encasing and freezing the impeller. (which cools the water-cooled motor) The result was significant damage to the motor. Under our insurance policy, the motor was replaced with a rebuilt motor by orillia precision shop with 5-star starport marina managing the replacement at a cost to the insurance company of $9300. Since 2020, we progressively broke motor in for 20 hours and in total, the motor only has 70 lifetimehours, and naturally is in great shape!
NEW WINDOWS AND windows: 2019
We upgraded and replaced the entire structure; 1 inch stainless steel frame and new windows and Sunbrella marine fabric. I’m 6’4” and the roof is tall enough for me to stand up straight. The roof is perfect and free from any defects. The windows are cleaned and waxed twice per year.
2021 TRAILER REPAIR
Last year, Jenson Trailers (Whitby) were hired to repair and upgrade the trailer. At a cost of $4000, we replaced 4 rims, 4 tires, repacked the bearings, new brakes, all new brake lines, and a new coupler. In 2017 we replaced all of the lights, so other than the frame, its practically a new trailer!

If you are interested, here’s an option for you for testing and trial run. For a $150 fee, we will meet you in Bobcaygeon, and launch the boat. We will go on a 3 hour test and tour of Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon where you can certainly also drive the boat. If you elect to buy it, then the $150 will be part of the purchase price. If you decide not to buy it, then its a nice $150 3 hour boat ride for you!
